Programs and services for our students to motivate and guide them on a journey of success from school to life after school.

Academic and General Education

To introduce D/HH students to knowledge about many subjects and give them information they will need learn how to learn, how to think, how to live.

Basic Literacy and Remedial Preparation in reading, language arts, and mathematics.

Extra-curricular activities

Art to give creative development to nurture student’s creativity and innovative skills.

Edible Garden to give opportunity for students to learn about science and nature, create awareness of where food comes from and caring for the environment.  Involve students in healthy fun activities such as composting, recycling, planting, weeding, watering, and picking vegetables to prepare healthy meals.

Recreational, leisure and sports activities

Engage students and youths in enjoyable recreational, leisure and sporting activities to improve their health and well-being, social interaction, as well as to promote social inclusion of deaf and hard of hearing people.

Skills Training

To equip, prepare and empower the deaf and hard of hearing with vocational skills like computer and baking to increase their job opportunities.  

Support vocational competency development programs at other training institutions to prepare them for more useful interesting jobs, improve work prospects and social inclusion of deaf people.

Counseling

Life skills training

Provide the initiative for greater self-reliance and to lead a fulfilling independent life.

Sign language (BIM) skills for students, parents, volunteers and the public

Opens the door to communicating better in a meaningful way by increasing hearing people’s language skills and communication ability with D/HH Community.

Develop awareness and sensitivity to Deaf culture and the Deaf Community.

Interpreting

Facilitates and provide access to effective communication between Deaf/Hard of Hearing and hearing community.
